“Brad the Nomad” is a blog created and maintained by Brad Rousse.
A native of Maine, Brad moved out of his home state to pursue a career in history. After getting his bachelor’s at Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania, Brad moved to New York City and earned his master’s at Fordham University. While living in New York, Brad worked at some of the city’s most famous landmarks, including the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, the Statue of Liberty and Rockefeller Center, where he was praised for his passion, depth of knowledge, and excitement about history.
In late 2013, Brad felt like things weren’t as compelling as they once were in New York, and decided to strike out for another place that had enchanted him: Europe. In August 2014, Brad will fly to Prague to take certification courses to teach English as a second language. While working in Prague, Brad hopes to explore Europe bit by bit on the side, sharing what he sees, learns and experiences with friends and family and hopefully, the wider world, via this blog.
